Growing Together

From a small park to a beautiful campus, our journey reflects a growing commitment to holistic education and community impact. This next chapter is more than a move—it's a mission to grow minds, cultivate community, and create something extraordinary together.

Our journey began 23 years ago at Hammond Park in Laurel, MD. It evolved from Operation Junk and Camp IO to The Mandala School. We are now delighted to share a landmark achievement for our school: securing a new 31-acre school campus in Bowie, Maryland! This step forward enables us to deepen our commitment to holistic education for students in Pre–K through 12th grade.

In addition to delivering a holistic education, our school will offer programs such as farming, outdoor education, land stewardship, and wellness to our students and their families, reinforcing our strategic goal of making a lasting impact on both our families and the broader community.

As a non-profit institution, our progress is propelled by the generosity of our community. Your support is crucial in nurturing the emotional, social, and academic growth of our students, enabling personalized education, small class sizes, enrichment programs, and project-based learning.

Our new Bowie location presents a unique opportunity to expand our impact, incorporating outdoor education with a focus on land conservation and wellness. However, transforming this property into an exceptional learning environment requires significant resources.
