Admissions

Thank you for your interest in our school! Student enrollment is open at any time during the year, including summer, based on availability of openings. Regardless of the time of enrollment, parents and students are expected to commit to a full year of school. This allows students to adjust to a new environment and and workflow. We encourage all applicants to learn more about our educational approach, facility, and the application process. The following steps are in place to ensure that we are the right school for your student(s) and your family.

1 - Research

It is extremely important that you and your student(s) understand our educational philosophy before you schedule an interview. Please take your time and read about us and our unique learning model. After reviewing all of the information, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. In addition to answering your questions, we can also provide additional links that may provide more insight.

2 - Application Submission

After completing and submitting your application, it will be reviewed by our Admissions Committee. This takes approximately one week. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you. There is no fee associated with submitting your application. Download our admission form to begin the application process.

3 - Interview

The interview allows us to meet you and your student(s) in person, learn more about us, and tour our facility. Depending on the time of year, the interview may be conducted while school is in session or not. Interviews that take place during the school year allow a better glimpse into the school day and our educational environment at work. Interviews last approximately one hour, depending on any questions you may have.

4 - Visiting Week

After completing the interview, a visiting week may be scheduled. This is an opportunity for your student(s) to actively engage with students and staff. In addition, your student(s) can have a hands-on experience with our learning process and our facility. Any additional questions can be answered at this time. When the visiting experience is over, you, your student(s) and our staff can have a discussion by phone, to see if full enrollment is right for all parties.

5 - Enrollment

The Enrollment Agreement is the last part in the admissions process. The period of time for enrollment is a minimum of one school year, or for the duration of the current school year in which enrollment takes place. The Mandala School offers need-based financial aid scholarships to lower the cost of tuition.

The Mandala School admits students of any race, gender, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual preferences, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

We would love to hear about any goals, desires and objectives you and your student(s) may have.
